Lions Club of Gothatuwa New Century Leo was able to do another remarkable project by donating school bags and books to students of low income families.
We arranged this project for nearly 140 students as a Joint Regional Project by Region 2B, as a part of “Sinha Saviya” during the launch of mobile clinic buses and multi-service project held on 26th of October 2024 at Ape Gama Open Theatre, Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte.
Past International President, Mahendra Amarasuriya, Past International Director, Trustee of LCIF, Lion Mahesh Pasqual, District Governor, Lion Saman Jinadasa participated the event along with number of district governors from multiple district, past district governors, officials of Japanese embassy, officers from health care sector, cabinet officers, lions, lion ladies and leos.
