Region 2A successfully completed another Multi Service Project together with all 8 clubs in the region on 20th Dec 2020 at Mulleriyawa Hospital phase 02 and Sri Abinawaramaya Temple, Himbutana for the celebration of a life of service of PIP Lion Mahendra Amarasuriya, 16th to 20th December as the Lions Service Week.
It covered all 5 global causes by LCI
* Relieving Hunger – Donated biscuits, cake, tea, sugar, samaposha for mentally disabled patients ward
* Protect Environment – Donated fruit plants to plant at hospital premises.
* Awareness and protection of Diabetes – Donated a diabetes screening machine to the hospital and donated diabetes awareness leaflets to the hospital to distribute among the visitors
* Awareness and protection of childhood cancer – Donated awareness leaflets to the hospital to distribute among the visitors
* Improvement of Vision Care – Donated spectacles to elders at Sri Abinawaramaya temple, Himutana.
