We take immense pride in the recent initiative undertaken at the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama (Apeksha Hospital) where our passionate members from the Lions Club played a pivotal role. On the 27th of October, amidst the esteemed presence of the District Governor and other dignitaries, our dedicated members wholeheartedly contributed to a major service project aimed at supporting the patients.
Their unwavering support and commitment were instrumental in ensuring the success of this endeavor. Together, we provided essential resources such as Air Conditioners, medication, Stationery, Books, fruits, and biscuits, valued at approximately Rs. 700,000/-. These contributions aimed to significantly alleviate the challenges faced by the patients, enhancing their comfort during their treatment journey.
